Finn brings more than three decades of finance leadership experience from major U.S. financial institutions, joining Venture Growth Capital as the firm continues its rapid expansion in the private credit market.

A Career Built for This Role
Finn joins Venture Growth Capital with more than 30 years of experience leading finance functions at major U.S. financial institutions, with deep expertise across capital markets, treasury, financial planning and analysis, regulatory and financial reporting, and the buildout of finance organizations through periods of significant growth and transformation.
Most recently, Finn served as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Patriot Bank, National Association. Earlier in his career, he held senior finance leadership roles over more than two decades at First Citizens Bank (formerly The CIT Group), including Global Controller for Equipment Finance, CFO of the Consumer Finance business, and SVP of Regulatory Reporting.
What David Finn Will Oversee at Venture Growth Capital
In his role, Finn will lead the firm's finance and accounting organization, including capital strategy, treasury, financial planning and analysis, accounting, and investor reporting. He will also partner closely with the CEO on the firm's long-range strategy and capital structure.
